• dreadful meal

  Visited here on Thusday had sausage and mash,it was dreadful the gravy was like "jelly", think you could have turned the plate upside down and it would not have dropped off, think they must have different staff as we waited ages to be served. We have been there before and the food was good, and tables were clean but not on this accasion, they were filthy.Some staff just stood about chatting totally ignoring waiting customers. All in all we think it was an unpleasant experience. Think it is back to Wetherspoons for us in future.

• For a great night out with friends!

  Yates is a fantastic bar that offers great food as well as drinks. If you're planning on spending a night on the town with friends then I would definitely recommend a visit to this bar. The energy in this place is fantastic and the atmosphere is lively and friendly. There's always great music playing too. The food menu has a great selection of meals and snacks which are of a great value. If you are going to be purchasing a drink with your friends then be sure to try one of their signature mixers as they taste great and well worth the money.

  this is a great bar/pub to visit, especially when you are out on the town with your mates. they always play decent music which is relatively new and something everyone has heard of. huge selection of drinks at great prices and there's always some kind of deal going on. definitely recommend trying one off their jug to share with all your mates.food menu isn't that bad either, food is of a good quality and prices are pretty good for your typical high-end bar. they also play all the latest sports on tv so it's a good place to go during the footie season
