Critical: Professionalism So I came to them first time just before the lockdown last March and everything was pretty great , the haircut and hair color no issues. Few weeks ago I decided to come back to them booking myself and my daughter to do our hairs . Even though they didn’t have appointment for dates I was looking for , They offered me appointment for colouring and cut straight away , however were not able to accommodate my daughter( probably because of the cheap price tag for kids ) offering me the dates which I couldn’t make due to our busy schedule with school and clubs. The owner ended up being rude over the phone claiming that whatever day she offers we can’t make it , so they can’t make it either. I told her to forget it and closed the phone as i got really annoyed by such attitude . By the end of the day I’m a client and I’m not looking for free service . Anyway On the day of my appointment I again rang them to double check my times ( as I remember I had slot for 9.30 on the 6th of may , but wasn’t sure if they kept it , and I was advised that yes there is a booking for 9.30 , but with no name , probably i have a booking , but they are not sure as they can’t see my name . She asked me if I changed the booking before from Friday to Thursday , which I did, so we decided it’s definitely me and I can come. She was nice over the phone this time. Anyway When I arrived to the salon the same owner of the shop came up to me saying in a very rude way that she remembers me that I closed down the phone on her therefore she has no appointments for me. Full stop . My jaw dropped as I spoke with her 20 mins ago to confirm the times , she said its irrelevant , no name under appointment , no call back from me , therefore no appointment for me . On my question why is she rude to me she said BECAUSE i closed the phone down on her that’s it end of story. I usually never rate beauty salons, small business who work hard to make a living , but I never ever came across of such attitude and such a cool customer service. They probably got over the moon being fully booked after the lockdown ,I’m not sure if they had customer service problems before , but running a business from a personal attitude perspectives bullying clients is a shame. It was ordinary situation of misunderstanding , poor communication and probably language barrier, but the level of rudeness of the owner is beyond the point, and I must say is typically Eastern European. Not sure why adults act like.
